JENNIFER WRIGHT:

Jennifer has always kept, ridden and had a huge interest in horses and anything to do with the equestrian scene - painting racing, polo, dressage, pastoral scenes and portraits in pastel and oil. Her other love is the sea, especially sailing and boating. She has always held a great fascination for yachts and skippers her own Najad. She has sailed across the Atlantic, sailed in The Baltic and The West Indies and The South and West Coast of England which is the main inspiration for much of her present work. Jennifer finds the endless change of light and colour is much enhanced at sea or on the coast, from the sultry palette of Southampton Water to the hazy or brilliant colours of the West Country. This aspect is reflected in her work.
