| Michael Strang has a Diploma in Art and
Design (Hons) London, and studied under David Poole (President of the
Royal Society of Portrait Painters), Anthony Eyton RA, Ben Levine RA,
Dick Lee, David Hepher and others at Wimbledon and Camberwell Schools
of Art, between 1968 and 1973. He paints landscapes, flowers, seascapes, still lives and portraits, mostly in oils. He accepts commissions, and his work can be found in various collections in Canada, the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Corsica, the United Kingdom, France, Luxembourg and elsewhere. He has been painting professionally since 1973 and has shown in an impressive list of galleries, including: |

| A series of over fifty small Porthmeor
Paintings were shown at the Tate Gallery, St Ives in their "Century
of Images" exhibition from April to October, 1995. Most of
these paintings were on display again in the 1997 exhibition at the
Camborne School of Mines Gallery. Three paintings in Cornwall County Education Collection Two paintings have also been accepted for the new Penzance Museum's permanent collection which opened in November, 1997. Two paintings in Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society Collection |
